The Chinese Religious Text Authority (CRTA) is an initiative that seeks to collect and present reliable bibliographic and scholarly information about religious texts in Chinese produced prior to 1949. We aim to connect bibliographic information across collections and archives in order to map the relationships among producers, publishers, and distributors of religious texts. We collect data in an openly accessible MediaWiki-based website. Building on a successful meeting in Aussois in Dec. 2019, a free workshop is offered on Saturday October 17, 2020 for all interested in adding to and editing this resource. Attendants will be given accounts and training in how to edit the data. The workshop is organized by Kathrine Alexander, Gregory Scott, Vincent Goossaert, and Marcus Bingenheimer.
