The Yin-Cheng Journal of Contemporary Buddhism is a peer-reviewed open access academic journal that connects cutting-edge scholarship with voices from across the Buddhist world to address pressing ethical, environmental, and social issues. Established in honour of Venerable Cheng Yen 證嚴 and her mentor Venerable Yinshun 印順 — both pioneers in bringing the rich resources of Buddhism to bear on the urgent needs of the modern world — the journal adopts an interdisciplinary, collaborative, and innovative approach to explore how Buddhist thought and practice can illuminate major questions of modern life.

The Yin-Cheng Journal of Contemporary Buddhism — published in English print edition through Cambria Press and in Chinese edition through Linking Publisher — is part of the Yin-Cheng Network, a partnership between Princeton University, Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, l’Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Inalco), Peking University 北京大學, the University of British Columbia, and the Tzu Chi Foundation.
