Seeking Experienced Chinese-to-English Translators for a Multi-Year Project

“From the Ground Up: Buddhism and East Asian Religions” (FROGBEAR)​​​​ is an international and interdisciplinary legacy project with over 30 top universities partners in East Asia, Europe and North America (for more details about this consortium, see frogbear.org)​.

On behalf of Peking University, we are pleased to announce the launch of a prestigious international initiative to translate a diverse collection of 1,000 major Chinese academic works into English. This comprehensive project aims to make influential scholarly works accessible to English-speaking audiences across a wide range of humanities topics.

We invite qualified translators with proven experience in academic translation to join this important endeavor. Details regarding compensation and project scope will be provided to selected qualified applicants.
