Hui, Wen

Hui Wen is currently a PhD candidate at the Ghent Centre for Buddhist Studies. She received her first M.A. in Pali and Buddhist Studies from University of Peradeniya in 2016, and another M.A. in Religious Studies from King’s College London in 2021, under the supervision of Professor Kate Crosby.

Her present research delves into the intricate journey of Buddhist iconographies as they disseminated and evolved along the Silk Road, with a particular focus on the Three Hares motif at Dunhuang.
