The Faculty of Divinity wishes to appoint to an Assistant Professorship in Buddhism from 1 September 2023.
We seek applicants who have a research specialism in any field of Buddhism. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake high quality research in Buddhism, to teach for the Undergraduate courses (Tripos), Advanced Diploma and the MPhil, to supervise doctoral students, and to undertake some administration. The postholder will be based in the Faculty of Divinity, West Road, Cambridge.
Candidates should have a completed PhD and should be able to show capacity to contribute to the outstanding research culture of the Faculty by engaging in research of the highest standards of excellence and to publish in their particular field of expertise.
