Peng, Xi

Peng Xi’s research direction is religious philosophy. He enjoys exploring the philosophical thoughts behind the religious-related phenomena and religion classics. Xi has studied political philosophy and got a bachelor’s degree from Central University of Finance and Economics in China.

“When I first learned about this program, I was both excited and diffident because it has opportunities and challenges. Religion always contains a large connotation of political philosophy, and Buddhism is not only one of the most influential philosophies to Chinese minds, but also the one I have always been interested in. The subject I chose, I suggest, is a good combination of my knowledge and research enthusiasm. In recent months, I have been learning about Buddhism under the guidance of my teacher for obtaining more resources before it begins. I hope that this project will achieve the expected outcomes with the efforts of everyone.”
