Return to the Student Reports page. 林旭娜/北京大学 2023年8月9日至22日，「之江问道——第六届旭日国际佛学菁英班」在香港与绍兴会稽山举办，本届菁英班由北京大学佛教典籍与艺术研究中心主办 ，加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学与浙江大学历史学院共同协办，并由会稽山佛教高等研究院承办。 来自世界各地的四十六位学生学者，共聚一堂，积极参与集学术授课、讲座、青年学者论坛以及宗教名胜参访为一体的佛学菁英班。 这一项目得益于旭日国际佛学网络（Glorisun Global Network for Buddhist Studies）的教育资源支持，自2018年开始，每年夏天在旭日网络大学轮流举办，合作学校包括北京大学、香港大学、加拿大英属哥伦比亚 大学、耶鲁大学、普林斯顿大学、加州大学伯克利分校、哈佛大学、汉堡大学、剑桥大学和牛津大学（https://glorisunglobalnetwork.org）。 该项目由加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学的「拔地入云：佛教与东亚宗教」（FROGBEAR）研究计划（https://www.frogbear.org）全面协调，旨在促进全球范围内的佛学研究多维、 跨领域的创新合作，培养具备国际视野和跨学科研究能力的高级人才。 本次研修班的学员男女、僧俗、中外比例平衡，通过多轮筛选，最终由来自世界各知名高校的佛教与东亚文化领域的学生学者组成，其中绝大多数是硕士和博士研究生，以及年轻学者 ，可以说是群贤毕至，少长咸集。 值得一提的是，研修班中有超过十位学问僧尼，他们不仅活跃于宗教界，还深耕学术领域，跨足内外，修行与学问并重，为整个研修班注入了多元文化的光彩。 之江问道——第六届旭日国际佛学菁英班暑期研讨会海报 本年菁英班为期两周，第一周首先于8月9-11日举行为期两天的香港研讨会系列，紧接着8月12-20日进入密集课与演讲系列，其间还穿插一场青年 学者论坛（8月19日-20日），8月21-22日则为名胜参访与赋归。 研讨会系列在香港大学举行，主题分别为「竞争与互鉴： ‘人间佛教’面临的现实情境与佛教的跨文化传播」、「执两用中： 东西方文明碰撞中的佛教中国化与国际 化」以及「佛教与科技：人工智慧时代传统宗教的现代化挑战」。 8月13日上午，密集课与演讲系列于浙江绍兴稽山书院正式开幕。 英属哥伦比亚大学陈金华教授首先对研修班赞助方旭日国际佛学网络（特别是旭日慈善基金会创始人杨钊先生、旭日佛学网络的领导者北京大学佛教典籍与艺术研究中心主任湛如教授），以及 即将交流授课的诸位教授表达了感激之情，同时欢迎各位学子从世界各地不远万里前来，鼓励学员们把握学习交流机会，奋勇向前。 紧接着，剑桥大学与浙江大学高奕睿（Imre GALAMBOS）教授、加州大学柏克莱分校夏复（Robert SHARF）教授、汉堡大学田海（Barend ter HAAR）教授，牛津大学寇思璧（Kate CROSBY）教授和浙江大学 何欢欢（HE Huanhuan）教授分别致辞，鼓励来自不同地区的学员把握菁英班和研讨会提供的绝佳机会，结识同道，互相沟通，增进交流。 Continue reading
