Jingjie Li is a professor in the Department of Art History at Tsinghua University. His research centers on Buddhist material culture, with a focus on the key ideas of Buddhist material culture under the Northern, Southern and Sui Dynasties as well as the Tang and Song Dynasties. His research is extended to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Additionally, Professor Li has conducted research on the profiles of the stone Buddhist statues as well as the gold-plated bronze Buddhist statues of the Northern, Southern and Sui Dynasties. He has also completed a thorough investigation of a series of marble Buddhist statues in Dingzhou 定州.
李靜傑: 1963年生,河北平泉人,文學博士,北京清華大學教授。主要從事佛教物質文化研究,闡明南北朝隋代、唐宋時期佛教物質文化的主題思想,釐清部分明清時期佛教物質文化內容。大體梳理清楚南北朝隋代石刻佛像、金銅佛像造型的發展脈絡,就定州系白石佛像進行了專門探索。有關中古中國與周邊地區物質文化交流研究取得長足進展。
